Free Counselling Service
Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre provides a free counselling service to anyone who may need extra support. Our current counsellor is Rory Hude who is available from the Centre on Mondays. For appointments, please call 6648 3694.

OUR STORY
A little about us
Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre works to build and strengthen our local community, where everyone in our community is welcomed, connected, supported, and can be involved in our community.
We provide an inclusive, safe space and foster community interaction and belonging. We offer a variety of services and programs to meet the diverse needs of people within Coffs Harbour.
We value a diverse and inclusive community, where all people are equal and can equitably access support and have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to the collective health and wellbeing of our community.
How we help the Community
A community that is connected is a healthy and strong community. Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre provides a range of services and programs that foster connection, support and provide opportunities to contribute to our community.
Our services:
- Information, advocacy, referral and form help
- Family activities and programs
- Homework help
- Food and emergency relief*
- Tax help and legal advice free*
- Low-cost hire of meeting rooms and offices
- Computer access, printing and photocopying
- Volunteer matching and support
*Some services may be for eligible people
Our groups:
- Support for people who have survived child abuse and trauma
- Craft groups for carers
- Conversation groups for people from mixed cultural backgrounds
- Addiction self-management and recovery groups for individuals or families

Volunteering for many is a great way to have fun and connect with others, gain work skills and is a rewarding way to give something back to our community.

We are always in need of something, whether it be blankets, tents, swags, personal hygiene products, non perishable food or something else.

We are proud that our services have continued throughout COVID to support our community. We continue to adapt services and introduce new ones to meet the needs of our diverse community.
Community Partnerships with RAB
Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre is part of Regional Australia Bank’s Community Partnership program.
If you open or have an account with REAB you can nominate Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre as your favourite community group.
This provides bonus payments to Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre ( equivalent to 1% of your average annual savings balance) without costing you a cent! This is a way our local bank is helping locals.
