About Us
Coffs Coast Volunteering
Coffs Coast Volunteering has been operating for over 15 years as a go to linkage service to connect volunteers on the Coffs Coast with Volunteer Involving Organisations. Coffs Coast Volunteering has over 40 member organisations that we are proud to work with, delivering tailored volunteer matching and recruitment.
Coffs Coast Volunteering office is located in Coffs Community Village on Earl Street. Our offices are located in the main building, and our friendly team of Volunteer Receptionists are there to help 5 days a week between 9am-2pm.
Our friendly Coffs Coast Volunteering team books appointments for community members wishing to be matched with a volunteer role. During the appointment community members are interviewed about their; availability, transport options, skills and licenses that they may bring to a role. The team works closely with the new volunteer to ensure they are matched in a role that fits them and that they have interest in. Coffs Coast Volunteering helps volunteers if they have Mutual Obligation requirements with Centrelink, or are just finding themselves with spare time to give.
Volunteer roles vary from a few hours each fortnight to 2 days per week in any given role. Coffs Coast Volunteering also matches volunteers with one off event volunteering opportunities.
Phone our office on 6648 3660 or email volunteer.reception@chnc.com.au to book your interview.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is time willingly given for the common good and without financial gain. Volunteering is often considered as contributing to community wellbeing, even though the person volunteering normally benefits as well.
Volunteering is a two-way relationship that provides an opportunity for organisations to achieve their goals by involving volunteers in their activities, and for volunteers to make meaningful use of their time and skills, contributing to social and community outcomes.
Volunteering is for everyone. Our role is to link you with volunteering opportunities in your local community. Volunteering makes a meaningful and positive contribution to our community – and it has huge benefits for you too.
The following are some of the things that volunteers have said about their volunteering experience:
‘Volunteering is a very rewarding experience and it builds your confidence‘ – Lenni, volunteer for 3 months
‘It makes my day feel better putting a smile on someone’s face‘ – Cheryl, volunteer for 3 years
‘I feel fulfilled that I am doing something worthwhile for our community in helping people less fortunate than myself‘ – Del, volunteer for 4 years
